apartment at dexameni hill

    Apartment in Dexameni

This apartment is located in a two-story building from the 1960s, bearing architectural elements reminiscent of interwar Athenian buildings. A defining feature of the residence is its privileged position directly across from the hill of Dexameni, offering expansive views of greenery and establishing a strong connection with the surrounding natural environment.

Generous openings in all primary spaces reinforce the seamless integration between interior and exterior, allowing for continuous visual flow throughout the apartment. Building on this quality, the layout was restructured to eliminate unnecessary corridors, enhancing spatial efficiency and creating a sense of openness and fluidity. The result is a living space where all zones are visually and functionally interconnected, giving the impression of a much larger area.

Inspired by Japanese architecture, the design emphasizes material simplicity and subtle spatial transitions. Although located in the heart of Athens, the apartment conveys the atmosphere and tranquility of a countryside home.
